Had the king, Korean and sweet bean dumplings. All of which were excellent. For a small quiet place it really packs a punch with its food. I'm surprised this place doesn't have a line out the door all the time. You won't be disappointed with this sparkling little gem.

I am from Taiwan and they have the best dumplings I had in my life. The spicy kimchi soup is a must try dish too.

Small, quiet, DELICIOUS! Had to stop in and see what the fuss was about, saw it on Anthony Bourdain parts unknown and it definitely lives up to the talk! Wish it was in Denver. When we come back to L.A we will visit again. Recommend for sure!! Photo is one of the nice staff making them fresh to eat! Yum!!!

My search for the great king dumplings outside of korea continues. After watching numerous TV programs and YouTube reviews of this place, I made it a point to visit it at my next trip to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. I ordered king dumplings, fried rice and sweet red bean buns. The fried rice was a soggy nasty mess with a not-so-feint curry-like scent (probably from some prior dish cooked in the same frying pan). The king mandoo was mediocre. The skin was fine but the filling was overwhelmed by too much garlic, too much low-quality cabbage & insufficient meat content. The only reason I am not giving one star is that the price was reasonable, the sweet red bean bun was above average (very tasty dough) and the kimchee was flavorful.
